peach picking time in Georgia

I am sure it is far from peach picking time in Georgia at the moment as it is in full swing here in Australia. Check out these bad boys. We got them all for $1.00, boiled them for about ten minutes with some water and sugar until the skins came off and then bottled them up in a sterilised jar ready for the depths of winter when the taste of a peach is so far away. Splendid.
